Management accountant

Sharp Consultancy is delighted to be working alongside one of the area #39;s leading manufacturing and engineering businesses as they are looking to appoint a new Management Accountant into the team. This role has a wide scope of progression which will allow a Part Qualified individual the exposure and next steps to become a fully qualified accountant. The role will provide exposure towards: -Preparation of monthly management accounts -Group reporting -Monthly analysis and commentary to identify variances and discuss action that need to be taken -Ensure costing is reported onto the system accurately, liaising with the production team -Preparation of annual budgets and reforesting -Maintain the fixed assets register and posting of any depreciation. -Involvement in the improvement of processes and implementation of new systems -Preparation of VAT returns and EU intrastat reporting -Assist in foreign currency hedging and cashflow preparation What we are looking for: -Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA -Strong MS Excel skills -Experience in manufacturing environment If you are interested in this role and would like to discuss more please apply for more details.
