Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Enfield Start Date:13/05/2024 Pay: GBP85 to GBP110 P/D (PAYE) Protocol Education are currently working with an OFSTED rated OUTSTANDING mainstream primary school based in Enfield. The Headteacher of this amazing primary school is currently looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in KS2 to support their students either on a 1:1 basis or on a small group basis. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be expected to have previous experience supporting pupils with *Special Education Needs* either on a 1:1 basis or on a small group basis. An ideal candidate will also be expected to have worked in a similar role however that isnt nessasary so should you have any SEN support experience outside of a classroom setting then please feel free to apply to this post too. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will: prepare learning materials adapt teaching support according to student #39;s needs look after children #39;s physical, social and emotional welfare create an interesting environment for students keep records and attend review meetings work with professionals such as speech and language therapists As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will require: sensitivity and understanding patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations to enjoy working with other people to be flexible and open to change excellent verbal communication skills knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses the ability to understand people rsquo;s reactions active listening skills to be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device If this role of #39;SEN Teaching Assistant #39; sounds like something you #39;d be interested in, please apply by contacting Aum Mody at Protocol Education .
