We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician. As a HGV Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles. About the HGV Technician Role: * Monday- Friday * Salary GBP38,500-GBP40K plus bonus scheme after 3 months of GBP800 to GBP1100 per month * Permanent role * Swindon based Duties Responsibilities for the HGV Technician Role: * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGV vehicles * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues * Conduct inspections and identify any potential problems or safety concerns * Use power tools and hand tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks * Follow safety protocols and ensure work area is clean and organized * Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed * Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs Experience Skills required for the HGV Technician Role: * Previous experience working as a HGV Technician * Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems * Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals * Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks * Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers If you are a dedicated professional with the skills and experience required for this position, we would love to hear from you.
