Sales executive

Hours: 8:00am ndash; 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 8:00am ndash; 3:30pm Friday Salary: 28-30,000pa basic depending on experience, plus bonuses This is an exciting opportunity to work within a small but very friendly sales team. It rsquo;s a busy but varied role where you rsquo;ll be developing great working relationships with our clients and will be producing quotes, providing advice, and taking orders. Experience in B2B Sales is desirable but not essential. Main responsibilities: * Looking after a geographical area to develop and maintain sales * Completing tenders on short time scales * Ensuring an effective sales process * Meet/exceed agreed sales targets and margin targets Job Purpose: Develop sales and profitability in the Amenity sector through the effective management of existing accounts and seeking out and developing trading relationships with new customers. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Sales Be responsible for a geographical area to develop and maintain sales and maximise further opportunities from existing and new customers. Be responsible for the completion and return of tenders on short time scales Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, guidance and recommending products, maximising sales opportunities, profit, and margin. Deal with tele-sales enquiries in a responsible way to ensure customer satisfaction. Liaise with customers regarding their orders, send order confirmations and discuss alternatives as required. Develop and maintain awareness of the company and its products and use this to help achieve sales. Take a pro-active approach to selling the company rsquo;s products and services to customers by follow up calls, site visits and attending exhibitions. Gain and maintain a high degree of market awareness and competitor awareness to identify improvements within the sales function. Meet/exceed agreed sales targets and margin targets. Prepare weekly sales reports. Sales administration Input sales orders on to SAP following the correct procedures. Maintain the CRM database, supplying and updating information as appropriate. What we are looking for: * Experience in working as part of a team * Experience in handling phone calls effectively * Experience of direct contact with customers * Numeracy skills to ensure accurate preparation of quotes. * Computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office. * Great communication skills * Attention to detail Experience of or an interest in horticulture would be beneficial but not essential.
