Key Responsibilities: Conducting comprehensive preoperative assessments of patients scheduled for procedures. Collaborating with medical staff to ensure patients are adequately prepared for surgery. Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients undergoing preoperative assessments. Ensuring accurate documentation of patient assessments and relevant medical history. Adhering to hospital protocols and standards to maintain patient safety and confidentiality. Requirements: Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration. Previous experience in preoperative assessment or similar role preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
