SEN Teacher We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Post-16 Teachers with a genuine passion for teaching students with special educational needs. As a Post-16 Teacher, you will have the opportunity to deliver creative and individualised teaching to support our students in their personal, social, and academic development. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals, including SENCOs, therapists, and support staff, to ensure a holistic and tailored approach to education. Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons to students with a range of special educational needs. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of individual students. Implement and adapt the curriculum to suit the specific learning requirements of post-16 learners. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independent learning and encourages student engagement. Collaborate with other teachers, therapists, and support staff to create individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, parents, and relevant stakeholders. Promote the development of life skills, independence, and social integration among students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience in teaching students with special educational needs, particularly post-16 learners. Strong knowledge of SEN teaching strategies and differentiation techniques. Ability to adapt teaching approaches to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents/guardians.
