Electrical maintenance engineer

Department: Maintenance - will be based across 5 sites, all within a close proximity to each other in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom. Working hours: 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 1.00pm Friday. Benefits: 25 days #39; holiday + Bank Holidays. Summer Christmas shutdown periods. Company pension contribution. Main responsibilities: * Ensuring that all plant and equipment are functioning correctly and optimised. * Continual improvement of equipment * Keep up to date with new regulations * Ensure that all standards are kept up to date * Ensure that all equipment meets European machinery standards Essential skills: * Self-development with maintaining knowledge of current regulations. * Good fault finding abilities and resolving issues in a breakdown environment. * Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical machinery and polyurethane processing equipment * Knowledge and fault finding with PLC systems
