Design Manager A rare opening for a Design Manager to join an established regional contractor in Hertfordshire who operate in the Education, Commercial, Mixed-Use and Science sectors. An additional days holiday is awarded after 5, 7 10 years rsquo; service up to a maximum of 28 days. * Pension * Private Medical cover * All professional membership subscriptions and training are covered. * Annual free health checks and flu jabs. * Employee Assistance Programme with mental health and well being support. * Eye tests and glasses paid for when regularly using a computer screen. * Regular pay reviews * Continued career progression The role: Design Manager As a Design Manager you will be responsible for technical compliance and design management mainly at early feasibility and procurement stages, with also with involvement monitoring the on-site Design Coordination and managing external consultants. Joining an established design team, you will be working on a range of schemes, typically between GBP5-12m in value. As a Design Manager you will lead design process on D B projects to produce accurate coordinated information in line with the agreed specification, programme and cost plan. Reporting directly to the Head Of Design You will enjoy a flexible working pattern between home, site, and their office Working hours 8.30 - 5 with 1 hour for lunch The right person - Design Manager - Hertfordshire Experience as a Design Manager from early planning stages through to project completion.
