Accounts payable

Your new company You will be joining a well-established consultancy firm as their AP Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be supported by a welcoming team who will be there to assist in your onboarding, as well as your continued learning and development in the business. Based in their modern City of London office 2-3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining few days. Your new role Processing supplier invoices onto the system (sage) and allocating invoices to the correct entity Bank reconciliations Liaising with suppliers, resolving queries Supplier statement reconciliations Preparation of supplier payment runs, ready for authorisation Applying the correct VAT for invoices CIS invoicing Ad-hoc support with month-end Implementation of new paperless software called Open ECX What you #39;ll need to succeed Minimum 3 years #39; experience in Accounts Payable The ability to work as part of a team A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong verbal written communication skills Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills Self-driven proactive Strong Excel skills Sage experience What you #39;ll get in return In return, you will receive an annual salary of up to GBP36,000 + benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
