Role: Quantity Surveyor ndash; Client Side Type: Permanent Location: London + Flexible Remote Rate: Negotiable The Company Working with the Client Side Public Sector business to deliver a significant infrastructure project. The Role To support the client side commercial team in the award of multiple contracts to contracting businesses (each valued GBP300m - GBP500m) Contracts to be awarded are in relation to M E Systems, Utilities, Control Systems Site Electrification. Significant involvement in Change Management, Contractor Procurement, Change Control, Approvals, Cost Assurance Cost Verification. Further detail fo the role includes: * drafting contract documents. * supporting the development of a contract management plan. * maintain effective commercial control. * Supporting the project management on NEC Contracts * valuation of variations and compensation events. * supporting contract payments assessment. * supporting the review and analysis of supply chain monthly reports. * supporting the settlement of supply chain disputes. * supporting estimate reviews (at all stages) The Candidate 3-5 years experience as a AQS/QS on Large Projects ndash; Client side ideal but not essential Ideally Experience on Utilities, M E, Electrification contracts Confident with Contract Administration on large projects Confident with commercial policies, processes and procedures. Knowledge of contract, commercial and risk management methods Knowledge of dispute resolution processes and procedures.
