Development lead full stack

Job Purpose To manage the team of developers supported by analysis, development, test, and delivery management skills in assuring that the features that the team builds are valuable and at a high level of quality. To derive metrics that allow schedule predictions to be made with a good understanding of the fidelity. To assure the team has the appropriate skills, process, and practice to achieve a successful outcome. To manage the professional development of the team of developers. This individual will report to our Associate Director - Payroll as well as matrix reporting into the CTO. What you will bring to the team Experience of leading a software delivery team to delivery business ideas into production as high-quality working software. Experience of line managing direct reports and supporting them to meet their career aspirations. Still hands on regarding development practices, being able to lead by example in terms of developing solutions. A strong development background utilising back-end technologies including C# Azure Functions / Framework / SQL Server and/or front-end development in React or similar. Experience working and building solutions within Azure. Desirable - Logic Apps. Able to communicate a complicated problem accurately and coherently to a team with different skill sets. Able to negotiate and compromise solutions and find the balance between best practice, expediency, and longer-term maintenance costs. Strong leader able to motivate and inspire a broad technology team. Ensure that the initiative has a coherent Definition of Done and that your features are met.
