Automation engineer

As an Automation Engineer, you will utilise your expertise in automation systems to improve and maintain the industrial machinery and processes. Your skills in automation programming and troubleshooting will be instrumental in ensuring the optimum performance of the production line. Description Commission and create new equipment PM procedures plus and key information that will be needed by the wider team. Develop and implement automation solutions to enhance machinery performance and reliability Troubleshoot and repair automation systems to minimise downtime Collaborate with the wider engineering team to identify opportunities for process improvements Provide training and support to other team members on automation systems Maintain documentation for all automation systems, including programming and maintenance records Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department Liaise with suppliers and external technicians as required Provide technical support for prolonged issues within operational departments Ensure safety is followed by all and lead by exampleProfile A successful Automation Engineer should have: A degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related discipline Working knowledge of programme languages, PLC programming, control system design, SAP, SCADA Proficiency in automation programming languages Experience working with industrial machinery and automation systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Good communication and team-working abilitiesJob Offer A competitive salary within the range of GBP45,000 to GBP49,500 per annum A comprehensive benefits package The opportunity to work with a global leader in the industrial and manufacturing industry A supportive and collaborative work environment located in Warrington Opportunities for professional growth and developmentAre you ready to bring your automation skills to a global leader in the industrial sector?
