Role: Deputy FM Manager Location: Uttoxeter, Staffordshire Salary: GBP37,100 per annum + Benefits Mainstay Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Deputy FM Manager to join our well establish client, working within a public sector contract. You will join a busy FM Team and take overall responsibility for the day-to-day organisation of planned maintenance work, reactive repairs and local projects. You will be joining an already well established team of 15 engineers, a senior engineer and a Facilities Manager. Role and Responsibilities Deputise for the on-site Facilities Manager Manage work load for engineers Ensure that teams training is up to date Follow site health safety procedures Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work Manage contractors Organise pre plan maintenance work React accordingly to reactive repairs Manage small local projects Assist in the development of maintenance plans that ensure that the establishment is safe and compliant. Allocate work according to staff on a daily basis. Track, monitor and manage the progress of work and the productivity of staff. Work to strict deadlines To manage and monitor the Facilities ldquo;Out of Hours rdquo; call out roster. The Candidate Strong supervisory/management experience Engineering qualification or experience City Guilds equivalent mechanical qualification Forward thinking with a good attitude towards work Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability and experience to manage a team of engineers Be able to pass security clearance (Including CRB check) If you are interested in the position please call Tom at our Walsall office
