Cnc setter operator

GPS are recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator ideally with some programming knowledge. The role is for a Senior CNC Machinist who will be expected to set and operate 3 5 axis milling centres using Heidenhain controls who has the ability to operate CNC lathe. The company machine small batches of bespoke high-end components, so we are looking for a proactive individual who has technical ability to read from drawings as well as understanding CNC programming. Desired Experience/Skills Required - Proven experience as a CNC Miller, Setter and Operator using Heidenhain controls. - Experience of working within a low volume batch environment. - Able to read from drawings and assist programmers. - Ability to run multiple machines. - Proactive and a team player. - Knowledge of Agie Charmilles Die Sinking EDM, EDM wire cut machines using FANUC controls would be advantageous SolidWorks CAD Solid CAM is an advantage, but training will be provided to the right candidate
