Area sales manager

Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Representative required to join a leading engineering supplier of electro mechanical products and services. The successful Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Representative will work remote, covering Oxford, London, Northampton, Bedford and surrounding areas, selling compressed air products services such as compressors, nitrogen generators, blowers, dryers and more within the compressor industry via distribution and end user channells. The successful Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Representative will ideally have field sales experience, ideally within engineering. There is full manufacturing product training provided and would consider candiates looking to learn a new industry with a passion for selling and generating new business opportunities. Package GBP30,000-GBP35,000 depending on experience High bonus scheme Company car 25 days holiday plus bank holidays phone, laptop plus additional benefits Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Representative Role Managing a number of key accounts via compressed air distribution channels and OEM customers for a product range consisting of compressors, vacuum pumps, dryers filters and other similar pneumatic / compressed air related equipment in to various industries. Manage and grow existing relationships and regular business development selling compressed air products and services. Maintaining new compressor sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets. Working closely with the compressed air Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided. Liaise with various engineering departments. Fully remote, covering South East UK working out of the office near Hertford when not on the road. Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Representative Requirements Experience as a Field Sales Representative, Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within sales. Compressor Service Engineers looking to come off the tools and progress in to a sales roles would also be of interest. Willingness and desire to learn a new industry within engineering with a passion for selling and generating new business opportunities. Full product training provided. A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous. Knowledge of the compressed air market such as compressors, vacuum systems, filtration, blowers dryers, downstream equipment, nitrogen generators, MRO, Pumps, valves, rotating equipment or similar engineering products / services is advantageous. Full clean driving license. Homebased, Willingness to travel across the South - Oxford, London, Northampton, Bedford and surrounding areas
