Lead quantity surveyor

Our client is one of the UK #39;s largest painting and property building maintenance contractors in the UK. With growth and progression, an exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Planned Works /Lead Surveyor to cover the M62 region St Helens, Warrington and Liverpool and surrounding areas working within a friendly contractor whom a very busy on a number of key frameworks. Specific duties and responsibilities;- Experience/comfortable in leading a team or taking ownership of some of their large key accounts/frameworks. bull; Experience of overseeing commercials on large projects. bull; Ideally with experience in Social Housing working for a contractor. bull; Person with good organisation and communication skills. bull; Comfortable working in a team. bull; Comfortable aiming towards targets and pushing individuals towards targets. bull; Comfortable in pricing large scale tenders. bull; Must have a solid understanding of CVR rsquo;s comfortable compiling them. bull; Would be willing to head up a department to manage quote opportunities, debt invoicing targets. bull; Ambitious to progress. bull; Would be working closely with an operations manager. bull; Reporting directly to the branch manager. bull; Will be 90% office based in St Helens but may need to carry out surveys for large scale tenders. bull; Will be managing other surveyors on their commercials and not managing any of their own. In return you will be working for one of the market leaders in planned and reactive maintenance works with a solid developing region in the North West.
