Quality inspector

Due to expansion an experienced Quality Inspector is required for a new role working for a well:established manufacturing business in Telford. In return for your experience, this business will offer you a starting pay rate of A GBP 12.43 per hour, and this job is working day shifts Monday to Friday (39 hours per week). We are looking for someone who has previous experience working to tolerances and using various measuring equipment including verniers and gauges. Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for the final inspection of manufactured components, checking the parts against technical drawings, addressing any quality issues with the manufacturing department, and ensuring that all components meet the required customer standard before going out to the customer. As a Quality Inspector, you will be required to: * Provide feedback on product quality issues to the manufacturing team * Work within a small team of 6 within the quality department * Ensure that products meet the required customer specifications * Keep an accurate record of data and correspondence ahead of daily meetings with the management team for this Quality Inspector role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: * Previous experience in a similar position * Previous experience working to low tolerances As a vital member of the team and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach and commitment, well provide a starting pay rate of A GBP 12.43 per hour, and the chance of a full time contract after a 3 month probationary period.
