Grace employs approximately 4,300 people in over 30 countries. Job Description Grace is seeking a Sales Area Manager to join our Material Technologies Business Division. This role reports to Sr. Manager Sales Central:Southern EMEA who is located at our Italian Office. This position will be located in UK with a sales territory in UK and Ireland with 70 travel (3:4 days a week).The 9MEURportfolio includes 100+ customers with a focus on business expansion in Graces strategic business sector such as: Pharma, Biodiesel, Colloidal and Coating. The person will be responsible for developing and driving sales across the full range of the Material Technologies Product Portfolio in the assigned Sales Area. This will be achieved through a professional approach, high level of business acumen and developing strong business relationships with customers, prospects and industry influencers. Sales Area Managers are expected to establishand maintain the image of Grace as a preferred supplier of products and services at the customer/market interface. Responsibilities :Regional planning to ensure adequate coverage of assigned territory. :Establishes productive, professional relationships with key decision makers and influencers at assigned customer accounts. :Coordinates the involvement of Grace Sales, Technical Service and Marketing, Customer Service professionals, including support, service, and management resources, within EMEA Region and partially globally in order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations. :Handles a variety of non:product sales related aspects like responsible care initiative, legal aspects, sustainability, Quality etc. :Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume, gross margin and strategic objectives in assigned accounts :Market Development, identify and acquire new customers, build strong opportunity pipeline :Proactively leads a strategic account planning process that develops performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones in the selling process related to each target account . :Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis. :Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel. :Supports Marketing as required, in expanding into new market segments :Complieswith all Grace Safety standards and initiatives. :Provides business and activity metrics as and when requested by Sales Management :Attends industry:related symposia and tradeshow events. :UtilizesCustomer Relationship Management (Salesforce) system Required Qualifications :Bachelor university degree in Chemistry, Engineering Business/Economics or similar :Minimum of 3 years of Sales business to business (B2B) experience :Fluent in English language :Located / relocate into the geographical area of responsibility (home office) :Willingness to travel 3:4 days/week within sales territory :Willingness to travel toEMEA region on an average of three times per year (Internal meeting, Trainings, etc..) :Proven ability to understand and sell a technical product portfolio :Skilled in using defined IT tools for proper information sharing, reporting and compliance Preferred Qualifications :Sales experience in the specialty chemicals industry :Experience using Salesforce CRM Benefits Statutory Requirements Medical Benefits Statutory Retirements Benefits Statutory Death Benefits Statutory Short:Term Disability Benefits Statutory Long:Term Disability Benef
