What youll be doing :In the absence of the Head Chef, assume responsibility for the overall kitchen operation :General production of breakfast, lunch and dinner :To maintain food hygiene, service and presentation to a high standard :Support the head chef to manage the day to day running of the kitchen, including managing wastage and paperwork :Deliver private and official functions :Follow recipes and prepare food for service :Manage all associated administration tasks :To share responsibility for the checking, probing, and signing of all food deliveries to ensure that only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the unit. :To assist the Head Chef in evaluating the training needs of the kitchen staff. :As a member of our team, you are equally responsible for cleaning and hygiene and that any assigned daily and weekly cleaning duties are carried out.
