Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Start Date: ASAP Hourly Rate: DOE Location: Warrington - Covering the North West Duration: 4 years Requirements: bull; Process control 4-20mA 0-10V bull; Control panel Fault Finding, pump starter, thermistors, magnetic, earth leakage. Relays, safety relays, Pilz relays, contactor rating AC DC. bull; Level sensors calibration. bull; Knowledge of electric actuators (settings, torque, overload etc.) bull; Wier tilt gates, bull; Pumps types, vertical drive, submersible etc. bull; Pump, impellor, bearing, trust bearings, seals, dry and wet types. bull; VSD rsquo;s, Starting currents, Torque setting, Ramps. bull; Cable Testing (iR, R1+R, Zs etc.) bull; Making off and glanding, SWA rsquo;s. PWA. bull;Cable type SWA, LSF, PVC, XLPE, H07RNF and application. bull; Earthing, functional earth. bull; Gland Ratings CW, EW etc. Desirable: bull; Hydraulic circuit, systems. Pump, cylinders, valve (solenoids). bull; Signal isolators ICA interface bull; Experience of Rotork actuators bull; PLC programming bull; VSD drive settings bull; Generators G59 deapsea etc. bull; Pump, impellor material selection. Job Brief: bull; Apply engineering knowledge and experience to technical problems to support the delivery of services to clients. bull; Required to work on your own initiative under the direction of the department manager to deliver services to our clients in accordance with timescale, quality and budgetary requirements. bull; Ensure that the projects allocated to you (or those that you are part of the project team) are managed to deliver their time, cost and quality objectives. bull; Undertake regular project reviews to monitor overall project performance and provide robust forecasts on costs vs budget where required. bull; Ensure all information, relevant to the projects that you manage and support, is shared within the business in a timely manner. bull; Provide project engineering expertise to projects, ensure that all engineering aspects are in accordance with applicable standards and best practice. bull; Carry out accurate and comprehensive vehicle surveys to allow concept and detailed design to be developed and/or a programme of works/modification instructions to be prepared. bull; Take part in production planning meetings and provide engineering input and support through considered and professional decisions. bull; Other tasks as may from time to time be deemed necessary and are authorised by line managers.
