Position: Stores Assistant Sector: Professional Services Location: Reading Position Type: Contract Inside / Outside IR35: Inside IR35 Salary: GBP11.44 - GBP14.29 depending on experience No Hybrid working, 5 days a week on site. About the company Our high profile client in the Food industry is currently looking to recruit a Stores Assistant to work with their busy team for 2 month contract. Job Description As a Stores Assistant, your main responsibilities are: Drive the Company Van when required for deliveries of goods or samples to and from RSSL sites. Collection of supplies from cash and carry and builder #39;s merchants. Some knowledge of facilities / handyman duties such as basic plumbing, erecting shelving and furniture assembly and decorating. Knowledge of safety systems issuing permits to work (PTW) and to check RAMS, ensure contractors work safely desirable. Support the Facilities Manager (FM) and PPM lead in maintaining and providing soft and hard facilities services to support the primary business functions at all RSSL sites. Prioritising and performing facilities requests, assisting stakeholders within the business. Ensure Quality systems are maintained in line with SOPs by proactive and reactive activities. Knowledge of Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) diagnostics and repair would be an advantage.
