My client, who are a family run business who specialise in creating and maintaining outdoor spaces within the community, have ambitious plans to grow the company further and are looking to add a Contract Manager to the Senior Management Team, to head up the Grounds Division. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will manage the Grounds and Trees teams, liaising with a wide range of clients, including local authorities, private developers and education providers. Benefits: On-site Parking Private Heath Care Company Vehicle Fuel Card What are the day-to-day responsibilities of the Contract Manager: Handling initial enquiries, arranging and attending Client Site Visits/Surveys Managing the project to ensure that it stays on budget and is completed within the allotted time frame Ensuring the client remains fully updated throughout the project Overseeing the recruitment and development of your team Supporting the directors to grow the department and wider business Required Skills and Qualifications of the Contract Manager: Experience of working on similar projects would be advantageous, but finding the right person is more important First class communication skills, able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, clients and other third party stakeholders/contractors Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills The desire and ability to help grow the division and wider business through proactive business development and networking If you are interested and have the relevant experience, please apply with an up-to-date copy of your CV and we promise to get back to you.
