Quantity surveyor

Join our team as a seasoned Quantity Surveyor, where you #39;ll be instrumental in the successful execution of construction and fit-out projects, overseeing financial aspects from start to finish, both upstream with our clients and downstream with the Supply Chain. Your primary duty will be managing project costs to ensure they stay within budget while upholding quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Take charge of tender preparation, submission, and project completion in full compliance with HSQE procedures. Lead the monthly CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation) process. Offer commercial expertise to contracts, encompassing valuations, claims, and budget monitoring. Assist in authorizing and submitting project variations. Manage contracts, subcontracts, material, and plant orders. Optimize cash flow through meticulous control, measurement, and valuation of work, along with invoicing customers and handling supplier payments. Ensure projects progress according to client specifications and satisfaction. Evaluate work done by subcontractors and certify interim and final payments. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a preference for diverse sector exposure, especially in fit-out or retail. While a Bachelor #39;s degree in Quantity Surveying is desirable, substantial relevant experience is also considered. Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS) is beneficial but not obligatory. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must; familiarity with COINS package is advantageous (training provided).
