Quantity surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Position: Permanent Location: Essex, CO9 Salary: GBP50,000k ndash; GBP65,000k + Benefits Depending on Experience Immediate Start I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client, who are well established contractor. They are specialists in groundworks and civil engineering who work predominantly within Essex and the borders of the surrounding counties. They have great core values, servicing their Clients and quality of work have seen repeat business and have an excellent reputation in the Construction industry. As a quantity surveyor your responsibilities: bull; Budgeting bull; Assisting the tendering process bull; Cashflow forecasting bull; Subcontractor procurement and negotiation bull; Monthly valuations with the Clients QS bull; Change management bull; Pricing of variations and the provision of timely cost advice bull; Remeasurement bull; Working closely with the Contract bull; Managers in the delivery of the projects bull; Subcontract account management to FA bull; Monthly CVRs bull; Reporting to the Directors bull; Closing out of project Final Accounts bull; Preparation of tender submissions for all allocated work bull; Engaging with specialist subcontractors, suppliers, designers and utility companies (or similar) to ensure competitive an accurate tender is submitted bull; Establish the resources required for each project bull; Measuring and take-offs from drawings to Build-up of tender price from first principles based on plans, programme and scope of works bull; Cost Planning bull; Producing bills-of-quantities bull; Pre and post Contract meetings with clients bull; Proactively seek new leads and fostering new client If you are a Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge, please get in touch.
