Production operator

Job Shop Recruitment have a great opportunity to work for an excellent company based on Heathfield Industrial Estate, newton Abbot We are seeking skilled Production Line Operators to work in a factory based in Heathfield Industrial Estate. As a Line Operator you will be responsible for operating the production line and equipment. Your role will involve ensuring the efficient operation of the production line, troubleshooting any issues that arise and maintaining quality standards. This role is very much a proactive role. The ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and with autonomy. Your main responsibilities will include: * Operate the production line machinery and equipment * Set up and adjust machinery according to specifications * Monitor the production process to ensure smooth operation and identify any potential issues * Raise any concerns to the shift supervisor and/or the maintenance team * Completing all production records * Completing regular quality control checks * General cleaning and maintaining an organised workspace * Collaborate with team members to meet productions goals You will be part of a small and friendly team who all muck in to get the job done, helping each other along the way. It #39;s a fast-paced operation and you #39;ll never have to clock watch. The right candidate will: * Have previous experience working on a production line * Be able to work well under pressure * Be a team player * Be hard working * Be flexible * Be reliable * Be able to work at a fast pace Full training and guidance will be provided. This is a permanent, full-time role. Afternoon shift - 2.00pm ndash; 10.00pm, Monday to Friday - GBP12.50 per hour Overtime available and at weekends during busy periods We offer 28 days holiday per annum (including bank holidays)
