Role: Residential Children #39;s Worker and Senior Residential Children #39;s Worker Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week Type: Permanent Requirements: * Driving license is essential * Right to Work in the UK full time * Experience working with chidlren is preferred (essential for Senior roles) * Level 3 qualification is Residential Children #39;s Care or equivalent is advantageous (essential for Senior roles) * Flexibility to work long shifts and occasional weekends About the Role: As a Residential Children #39;s Worker, you #39;ll be an integral part of a supportive team, providing invaluable support to children with learning disabilities within a nurturing children #39;s home environment. Key Responsibilities: * Provide personalised support, centered around the needs of each child. * Foster and maintain relationships between children, their friends, and family members. * Encourage community integration through participation in clubs and day centres. * Assist children in daily activities and routines. * Prioritise the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children, promptly reporting any concerns. * Commit to ongoing professional development. * Be flexible to cover shifts in other homes if needed. * Collaborate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals.
