Cad daftsperson surveyor

CAD Draftsperson / Surveyor Pertemps Stoke are looking to recruit an experienced CAD Draftsperson / Surveyor to join our well established client in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This role will suit a Postgraduate who has pursued education in product design or a similar course where the use of CAD has been an essential element. There is potential for career progression within the company. Key responsibilities of this CAD Draftsperson / Surveyor role: Create full 3D models using SolidWorks CAD system based on captured survey data Structure underlying components including core rail, treads, risers, brackets and glass for handrail assembly Design profiles and produce detailed 3D CAD model, refining curves for smooth flow and ensuring profile integrity Identify and create joints in handrail for optimal machine time Insert relevant smart features like fixings and dowels, ensuring correct type and size Conduct site visits across the UK to liaise with clients on technical issues related to projects Perform site surveys using Creaform 3D Digital Laser Scanning Equipment and Software Identify critical points, surfaces and features for accurate capture of projects Recommend remedial work by third parties for issues like uneven metalwork or finger trap areas Occasional overnight stays and additional hours may be required to complete surveys Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of survey findings for project planning and execution Skills required for this CAD Draftsperson / Surveyor role: Full UK Driving license is essential Understanding of complex drawings Extensive knowledge of drawing principles and geometry creation for effective CAD work Experience creating drawings in 2D and 3D drawing packages. 3D advanced CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks Knowledge of engineering design principles Strong Math and IT skills Strong problem solving skills Creative ability What this CAD Draftsperson / Surveyor has to offer: Starting salary GBP25,000 Location: Stoke-on-Trent Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00 Free onsite parking If you have the above requirements and experience, please call Steph on (phone number removed) Please ensure your CV is up to date with all relevant experience and your contact details are accurate.
