Part time sheq advisor

EQUANS is looking for a SHEQ Advisor to join our team in Grimsby on a permanent basis. This is a part time role working 18.75 hours per week. On offer is salary a of GBP16,000 - GBP18,500 depending on skills and experience and benefits package. What will you deliver? The main purpose of the role is to support the Company in the operation of systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001 ISO 14001) covering the effective management of safety, health, environment, and quality. To understand, adhere and implement the company SHEQ policy/strategy. * Support in ensuring the contract complies with the EQUANS management systems and company standards (which includes statutory requirements), providing relevant guidance and advice. * Support in achieving standardisation across the region. * Undertake lsquo;active rsquo; monitoring and auditing of the company rsquo;s sites, providing feedback via the company rsquo;s reporting system. * Support the effective close out of corrective actions raised, open incident reports, and significant site issues. * Assisting in the development of risk assessments relating to SHEQ * To respond to requests for advice which fall within the job holder rsquo;s area of expertise, through discussion with the Senior SHEQ Manager, and others where appropriate. * Able to work alongside the contract team as the H S professional and provide specific real time support independently. This includes attendance at relevant contract meetings. * Keeping up to date with new legislation and best practices in the industry through regular reading of journals and relevant website/ site visits. Ensure competence levels are maintained by attending required training sessions and workshops. What can we offer you?
