Cost Estimation: Support senior surveyors in preparing detailed cost plans and budgets, considering factors such as materials, labour, equipment, and overheads. Tender Preparation: Contribute to the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and contract terms, in collaboration with project teams. Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Assist in soliciting quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts to secure favourable terms. Cost Monitoring: Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, tracking expenses, identifying variances, and providing timely updates to project stakeholders. Value Engineering: Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize project costs without compromising quality or functionality. Contract Administration: Support the administration of construction contracts, including issuing variations, processing payments, and resolving contractual disputes. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, and contract documents, ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
