Job Title: Teaching Assistant Hours: 8:30am ndash; 3:30pm Wage: GBP83.85 per day Location: Newport Teaching Personnel are pursuing strong, hard-working Teaching Assistants for a school in the Newport area. The individual would be expected to start the role as soon as they are cleared through our vetting process. The school has explicitly stated the desire to have permanent and consistent support for the individual throughout their duration in school. It is imperative for us and the school that the educator filling the role is empathetic, patient and has a positive approach to every situation. More about the role: Assisting the pupil and ensuring they stay engaged throughout the course of the day. Ensuring there is a positive mindset and attitude toward work. Be understanding and patient in different scenarios. Coordinate and work alongside the Teacher to ensure the organisation and preparation of the classroom. Bring a positive, proactive and curious mindset every single day. To work as a Teaching Assistant you must: Register for a Child workforce only Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service. Register to the EWC (Education Workforce Council), we can assist with these two steps. Be able to provide 2 professional based references covering the last 24 months.
