SEN Teaching Assistant Stoke-On-Trent, Staffordshire GBP21K - GBP23K per annum, Actual Salary Location This is a permanent job vacancy, is located 8 minutes from Stoke on Trent via the A52. Benefits * GBP11.72 - GBP12.78 per hour / GBP21K - GBP22 rsquo;900 Actual Salary. Criteria * A Full UK Driving licence access to your own car ndash; desirable. * Fully funded opportunities to gain further qualifications. * Minimum GCSE Maths English at Level 2/C or above is essential. * A Recognised Level 2 or above in Support Worker for Teaching Learning in Schools. * Knowledge or experience of students with SEN or SEMH/ASD. * Enthusiastic, proactive, and having a passion for working within the sector ndash; essential. * You must be over the age of 21. You will be supporting young people in the classroom living with Autism, or social, emotional, and Mental Health needs. Duties As a Teaching Assistant, you will be key in supporting the young people with their learning in a safe environment. Every member of the team has a common goal to empower the young people through learning so they can achieve their goals and a positive future. Each individual student has 1:1 support as well as support in small groups, and your role will be key to providing that support.
