Cover supervisor in secondary schools

Team Educate have an opportunity for a committed Secondary School Cover Supervisor to carry out classroom cover in a Secondary School in Weston-Super-Mare. The role is available on either a short- or long-term basis with flexible working days available. Do you wish to gain experience working in a Secondary School? Do you have a passion for working with children? Working as a cover supervisor is an excellent way to engage with young people and familiarise yourself with schools in the local area. A teaching qualification and/or experience is desirable but not essential. A big heart and plenty of patience is far more important. We are looking for Cover Supervisors who: * Can build a good rapport with pupils in a short space of time * Can remain calm, confident, and engaging in unfamiliar surroundings * Have an interest in a multitude of subjects. * Are eligible to work in the UK * Have an enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one.
