Sen teaching assistant

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work at a First School in the Redditch area. Our client is looking to recruit a full-time teaching assistant to work in a Year 2 class on a long term basis, starting as soon as possible. Based on the outskirts of Redditch, this is a 1.5 form entry school with good local transport links and a charismatic headteacher. The school require a Teaching Assistant to support in a Year 1 class, working with a child on a one to one (1:1) basis. The child has an EHCP with an Autism diagnosis. There is very little challenging behaviour, the child requires learning support and routine. This Teaching assistant role is full-time and starts as soon as possible. This is expected to continue until the end of the academic year. Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role: Minimum Level 2 qualification or equivalent Experience in a Primary School or Nursery setting Experience in Key Stage 1 is a bonus Patient approach to teaching support Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Working for Flourish Education as a SEN Teaching Assistant you will receive: Day rate up to GBP95 per day which equates to GBP18,525 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year The option of PAYE or Umbrella Holiday Pay- for PAYE candidates you accrue this at 14.36% of your day rate Pension Contributions Free Safeguarding Level 1 and Prevent Training Refer a Friend bonus scheme GBP100 welcome to the team bonus paid automatically after working 10 days Regular contact throughout the registration process and once you are at work. This SEN Teaching Assistant role is situated on the outskirts of Redditch in a residential area. The school is easily accessible by car and public transport and has a good sized car park on site.
