Senior quantity surveyor

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location East of England, Bedfordshire, Bedford or Portsmouth, Havant Job Type Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry Construction - NEC 4 Contract Secondary Industry Environmental and Waste Salary GBP(phone number removed) - GBP(phone number removed) Per annum (expereince dependant). Job Duties: Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts Managing project finances, including budgeting and cost control Advising on legal and contractual issues Assessing and minimising risk Collaborating with project teams, clients, and suppliers Preparing progress and financial reports Required Qualifications: Chartered status with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field Proven experience in a similar role Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field RICS or open to working towards RICS Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of construction processes and regulations NEC 4 contract experience Excellent numerical and financial management skills Good communication and negotiation abilities Proficiency in relevant software applications Preferred Qualifications: Master #39;s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field RICS Working Conditions: Office-based with some site visits as required.
