Role: Deputy Home Manager ndash; Childrens Residential Salary: up to GBP34,815 (plus GBP65 per sleep-in) As the Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager, working within a children rsquo;s residential home that offers support for up to three young people aged between 11-18 years who are experiencing extreme trauma and are at high risk of further exploitation, by remaining in their current communities. Responsibilities: Supporting the Home Manager to develop a positive, nurturing environment To be responsible for the admin and childcare functions of the home in the absence of the registered manager Support with the training and development of employees Ensuring Ofsted compliance and quality standards Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations. Promoting quality standards, policies and procedures and legislation Supervision of team leaders and key workers Requirements: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential.
