Controls engineer

Are you a Controls Engineer with SCADA/PLC experience? Are you looking for your next contract? One of our clients in Newcastle is looking for a Controls Engineer with experience in the Subsea industry. This company is leading the way in the off shore equipment design and dominating the offshore engineering space. The client has won a number of projects which requires contract staffing resource. This role is for an initial 6 months starting ASAP (extensions expected) This role is based in the Newcastle and is deemed Outside IR35. The ideal Controls Engineer will have subsea/renewables engineering experience and a strong background in EC I. The client is looking for candidates with the following experience: PLC programming (Siemens / Rockwell) Designing of SCADA/HMI applications Design of Ethernet and serial networks Manufacture and assembly support Technical documentation to support equipment (specifications, risk assessments, manuals, etc) Client support - on-site and remote (occasional site travel preferred) Peer review of engineering designs Experience level - ability to work on projects without direct supervision. 5+ years.If you are interested and looking for your next contract, please send over your up to date CV and I will give you a call.
