Behaviour support assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Stockton School for a confident Behaviour Support Specalist. The role will require you to work alongside a class teacher to support learning, you may also be expected to work 1:1 with children across multiple year groups also. If you have a passion for working with children or a background in care. and you can reliably commute to Stockton, we would love to hear from you! The ideal candidate will be able to: Work effectively as part of a team within the classroom ensuring that all the children are looked after and learning from the taught content. Work 1:1 with children with SEN. Work coherently with teachers in providing support for students. Have a passion for assisting students. Be enthusiastic and proactive in the classroom. Have experience working 1:1 with children who have barriers to learning (ASD, ADHD, PMLD, VI, HI) Experience working within an SEN school setting or social care. Promote and encourage independence and personal development. Candidates that have been successful within this setting have had some experience in any of the following: Scouts Leadership Sports Coaching Challenging Behaviour Settings Health and Social Care Settings 1:1 Support SEN TA Educational Settings What Teaching Personnel offer: Your own dedicated consultant who will do their best to find you your ideal role.
