Location: West Midlands Salary:GBP35 -GBP45K + Company Car and Annual Bonus 09:00 -17:00 Home Based/ Field Sales Adecco Birmingham are currently recruiting for one of their valued clients The Role: Responsible establishing new distribution networks and relationships within the outlined area. Maintaining excellent customer relations. Full account and budget responsibilities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for managing and effectively establishing customer accounts within region / customer base. Generate customer business in line with discount and rebate structures. Accountable for the achievement of sales targets set for set region. Accountable for keeping management informed of sales activity against target achievement by the submission of weekly and monthly reports and via Sales Force. Responsible for following up leads, answering sales calls and responding to enquiries through to order placement. Effectively handling customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, with the Product Management team and factories as appropriate. Accountable for following up all sales leads and customer quotations. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and merchandising techniques. Accurately maintaining records on area and customer sales for region / customer base. Responsible for carrying out all other associated tasks to ensure the effective and efficient running of the sales team. Ensuring current customers have the right products and services. Identify new markets and customer leads and pursue new sales opportunities and pitch to prospective customers. Deliver presentations and demonstrations to customers. As the external face of the Company build and maintain professional positive customer relations. Develop new to the group business through calls / demand investigation and possible product developments. Plan and organise daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers / sales outlets in line with the national sales strategy. Generate and input weekly and monthly reports such as call reports / SWOT analysis, weekly work plans and territory analysis. Maintain technical knowledge and keep up to date with customer requirements by attending industry relevant workshops, trade fairs, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Regularly visiting and communicating with key customers to build and maintain a positive working relationship. Be fully conversant with the Company #39;s full product range and keep up to date with the latest product developments. This is a home-based role but will require travel to the Head office based in the South East / Group sites as well as customer visits, as and when required. International travel is also a requirement. Person Skills Required: Proven sales track record in the electrical sector. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook. Target driven with a desire to succeed. Can do attitude with focus on delivering customer satisfaction. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Self-confidence and self-motivator. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); demonstration of ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff at all levels. Ability to work autonomously, using own initiative, managing oneself and workload. Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task.
