LEAD INFORMATION Job Title ndash; FLT Counterbalance Operator Fixed Days OR Fixed Nights Site location ndash; Trafford Park, Manchester Responsible to ndash; Shift Manager Purpose of the role ndash; To support the warehouse, Stock Rotation and Replenishment of customer goods with the safe operation of Counterbalance trucks and use of hand scanners. Client brief ndash; Our client is a world-renowned Warehousing organisation supporting blue chip companies with warehousing and distribution functions. KEY INFORMATION Job Title ndash; FLT Counterbalance Operator Fixed Days OR Fixed Nights Hours - (Fixed Days) 6am-4pm Monday to Friday, OR (Fixed Nights) 6pm-6am 4 out of 5 shifts Monday to Friday WHEN YOU PICK DAYS OR NIGHTS YOU STAY ON THAT SINGLE SHIFT Pay - Days = GBP12.02ph Nights = GBP13.16ph Overtime ndash; (All overtime is optional) Saturdays 1.5x basic rate, Sundays 2.0x basic rate Site location ndash; Trafford Park, Manchester Responsible to ndash; Shift Manager Purpose of the role ndash; To support the warehouse, Stock Rotation and Replenishment of customer goods with the safe operation of Counterbalance Trucks and use of hand scanners. RESPONSIBILITIES The role - Our client is looking for Counterbalance Operators to support their existing team in their Ambient (room temperature) Warehousing Operation in Trafford Park. As a Counterbalance Operator, the requirements are varied but not limited to ndash; * Accurately and safely operating a Counterbalance truck within site health and safety requirements at all times. * Rotating stock, storing and collecting products from pallets with use of CB Truck handheld scanners. * Working within a team to complete daily warehouse targets. * Delivering a high standard of productivity at all times to ensure smooth operation within the warehouse. * Handling stock respectfully, with a high attention to detail. * All other generalist warehousing duties. Key Skills Required - * Previous experience operating FLT Counterbalance Trucks is essential. * FLT Counterbalance license holder is essential. * Previous experience with handscanners is essential. * Must be reliable and committed. * Must be able to communicate in English to a high standard (verbal and written). * Flexible approach to duties and tasks
