Sales executive

This is a great opportunity for a SALES EXECUTIVE to join the team of a successful and well established Smethwick based manufacturing business You will be working from a buzzing, newly refurbished, office environment while both visiting and receiving customers in person. Salary is negotiable with experience but is anticipated to be in the region of GBP30,000 plus incentives package. Working hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Mon to Fri. As a SALES EXECUTIVE within this business your will undertake the following key activities: * Balance new business development with account management * Face to face customer meetings * Identify and pursue potential new customers, business leads and enquiries * Nurture and build both new and established customer relationships * Achieve performance and activity targets on a weekly basis * Maintaining customer database and records * Progress chasing The successful SALES EXECUTIVE will have the following key skills and attributes: * Experience in a field or office based, business to business selling role * Business to business sales, ideally within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or similar * Financially commercially astute * Skilled communicator and strong, opportunistic negotiator * Self-motivated and structured with a target driven approach * Computer social media literate This SALES EXECUTIVE position will ideally suit a systematic and motivated self starter with a background in selling metal finishing services within the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
