The Role * Point of contact for the engineers * Managing and supervising of engineers * Provide support and direction to the engineers on your team * Support the team to identify work that should be done by outside contractors by assessing the skills needed and the time required to perform the tasks * Perform risk assessments and plan safe methods of work * Support with planned or reactive maintenance on machinery as required to optimize machine uptime * Assist the team during equipment breakdowns * Lead or participate in breakdown analysis / root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures * Support the team to plan future maintenance activities * Promote improvements in maintenance practices and systems of work * Lead or participate in improvement projects The Person * Desires to work alongside a great team and management for the long term, with ambitions to stay and develop in to higher management * Comes from a manufacturing background or similar * Apprentice trained / Level 3 qualified or equivalent The Benefits * You will be joining a highly successful company who can offer a massive amount of stability, longevity and security * A great management team who value their staff and bring out the best in you * Opportunity to get supervisory and management experience in order to develop your engineering career * A large amount of time off and work life balance * Many added benefits to the role including a high salary and lucrative benefits package If you are interested in this role and a suitable candidate, please apply with an up to date CV or call the team for more info. **You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role
