Activities coordinator

We are recruiting for an Activities Co-ordinator for our lovely residents at The Dell Care Home in Lowestoft, Suffolk, NR33 9PL. You will have a bubbly personality and your main priority will be to ensure that residents are active happy at The Dell Care Home. You will support, inspire and encourage them to gain the confidence to take part in daily activities and do this to the best of their ability to make a real difference in their stay at The Dell Care Home. To develop, plan programs, events, outings, staffing the events and overseeing the implementations of activities. Ensure the programme reflects the current population of the wishes and preference. To support and enable service users to access social networks and maintain personal interests in accordance with best practice, agreed standards, legislation and within the financial budget. Qualifications * Previous experience of working in similar environment * Previous experience of working in similar role * Experience of working with people, in particular those that may have additional support needs * Knowledge of event planning practices and techniques. * Can start as soon as possible Competitive pay rate, ongoing training, are just a few of the benefits we provide.
