Marketing assistant entry level

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Assistant at an entry level, to join an ambitious, leading publisher/event organiser and online intelligence provider within our sector operating with a global client base. As our Marketing Assistant, reporting into our Team Leader and ultimately into our Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be part of the wider sales and marketing team reporting into the MD, supporting the ongoing global brand development of our media and events portfolios. This is an entry level role and would suit a recent University or College leaver seeking their first marketing based role to build upon your marketing related education and qualifications you have gained at A Level, BTEC or Degree level. However, you may already have some marketing work experience from a more general office support role and now be seeking to further yourself and gain a role that is solely marketing focussed. You will join a dynamic company working Mon to Fri 9 ndash; 5.30pm with free parking, on site gym and caf eacute; with scope to develop your role within the business and ultimately your career. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and forward-thinking marketing department and support ongoing global brand development of our media and events portfolios. Key responsibilities of the role include: Assisting delivery of company rsquo;s marketing and communications plan. Monitoring and reporting on competitor activity. Merchandise ndash; researching new options, ordering for trade events some of which are located abroad. Managing paid subscriptions (with guidance). Updating subscriptions on email platform database and CRM system. Social media - data processing, scheduling and analysis. Researching new subscribers using company platforms and other third-party resources. Contributing to CRM maintenance (including editorial outreach programme). Recording stats and presenting to the team when required. Uploading SEO articles. Keyword research for SEO. An understanding and adoption of company brand guidelines. As an international business, you may be required to work outside normal business hours, on occasion. Ideally you will have the below:- Marketing related qualification at A Level, BTEC or Degree Level Keen interest in pursuing a marketing career/role Experience using social media in a marketing capacity would be an advantage or as part of your studies Experience using Photoshop would be an advantage Be willing to travel internationally to trade shows and events Be seeking a varied marketing role and be keen to learn This is an exciting and rarely available entry level marketing opportunity offering a varied role providing a different challenge each day.
