Water treatment engineer

Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer. Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester. Salary / Benefits GBP24k - GBP35k + Training + Benefits Our client is a professional and privately owned Water Treatment / Water Hygiene management company who have a strong presence across thhe North West and Midlands regions. Due to recently gaining new contracts, they are now seeking to take on a Water Treatment Engineer to cover contracts across the North West / M5 / M6 region. You will be working on a varied site base, carrying out sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW systems, closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing and cooling tower cleans and disinfections. Experience Qualifications: Will have extensive experience working as an engineer for a reputable Water Treatment / Water Hygiene company. Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of ACoP L8 / HSG 274 guidelines. Able to manage workload in line with company / client requirements. IT literate. The Role: Undertaking sampling and analysis of LTHW and CHW systems. Dosing systems with correct chemicals. Water sampling and temperature monitoring. CWST cleans and chlorinations. Undertaking showerhead cleans and descales. Closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing. TMV servicing and failsafe testing. Cooling tower cleans and disinfections. Ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines. Accurately updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
