Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Salary- GBP48,000-GBP51,000 Shifts- Permanent Nights (3 shifts week 1 and 4 shifts week 2) Location- Commutable from Stockport, Ashton-Under-Lyne and Central Manchester. The Role As a mechanical maintenance engineer you will be responsible for PPM and reactive breakdowns on machinery, projects and working closely with operators to minimise downtime. Although the role is mechanically biased you will need to have some experience with electrical components and able to swap components like for like and have the ability to do basic electrical fault finding. Requirements of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Minimum level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering - Previous Manufacturing experience - A great problem solver - Ability to work solo and as part of a team.
