Job Title ndash; Estimator Location ndash; Barrow-in-Furness Role Type ndash; Permanent Morson are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity as Estimator to join a leading Facilities Management company that provides mechanical and electrical construction, industrial and energy infrastructure, and facilities services to a diverse range of clients. The role is based in Barrow-in-Furness and offering a competitive salary, plus car allowance, pension, and private healthcare. Skills and experience: bull; Completed education up to HNC/HND Standard or equivalent. bull; Possess exceptional management expertise. bull; Hold a relevant quantity surveying qualification (preferably at degree level). bull; Have experience working in a quantity surveyor capacity. bull; Demonstrate relevant experience in estimating within the FM Industry. bull; Preferred experience in working within an SFG20 environment. bull; Proficiency in IT skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Key responsibilities include: bull; Oversee the bid and resource coordination process, managing both direct and indirect staff. bull; Offer innovative solutions to meet client requirements effectively. bull; Maintain industry knowledge to stay updated on competitors methodologies. bull; Gather information and prepare proposal submissions, including solution and option appraisals for new methods of FM service delivery, identifying viable commercial options. bull; Take a proactive approach to continuously improve communications, management procedures, and systems to enhance profitability and operational efficiencies. bull; Manage the implementation of best practices through consultation and collaboration with external bodies and other EFS divisions. bull; Ensure the implementation of common practices across the division to establish meaningful commercial and operational data.
