Elevation Recruitment are currently partnered with a fantastic business based in York to assist in the recruitment of an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their friendly finance team. Within the role, you will be predominantly raising sales invoices, issuing credit notes and statements, including copy documents as requested, and supporting the wider team. Duties and responsibilities: To ensure all member deductions processed through the Central Invoicing portal are supported by evidence of an acceptable standard To act as quality control for evidence before passing on to suppliers To assist with member training on the central invoicing portal Process and complete direct debit collections/payments with in-depth breakdowns Complete full account / statement reconciliations for both members and suppliers To create reporting structure giving assurance to other team members and suppliers that all efforts to maximise systems are in place Aid in the maintenance and development of systems Assist with month end close, credit control and vital holiday support Adhoc business analysis projects Person Specification Flexible attitude Strong organisational skills with a superior attention to detail A can-do approach Enthusiastic and enjoy working as part of a team Solid communication skills both written and verbal Good problem-solving skills Good communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with key staff in other organisations to achieve common goals Good Excel skills If this looks like the perfect role for you, please get in touch or click apply now!
