Manufacturing technician

Manufacturing Technician We currently have a fantastic role for a Manufacturing Technician for an advanced technology systems company based in Fair Oak, Eastleigh. The Manufacturing Technician will be working in both the workshop and office and is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within the business and will involve the following: Main Duties: * Setting up of and maintenance of test equipment. * Conducting test of finished product through specialised software and documenting the results. * PAT/FAT testing of specialised equipment. * Product assembly. * Basic fault finding * Carry out equipment repairs to component level. * SMT soldering. * Installation and configuration of Windows. * Using Disk imaging software. * Network configuration of static IP addresses * Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, documenting and escalating issues as and when necessary. * Respond to relevant support tickets and workshop repair requests. Required Skills Experience: The ideal Manufacturing Technician will have a great attitude, keen to develop their skills and have a background within manufacturing / assembly. Any test, soldering, fault finding experience and or IT software experience will be an advantage however training will be provided in the majority.
