2391 Electrician | Commercial Maintenance | Manchester Surrounding Areas | GBP39,000 per annum + Paid overtime Employment Package | Mobile role with company van. Are you a qualified Electrician? Due to contract expansion, we are currently seeking an Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer, ideally with City and Guilds 2391 to work on a mobile basis around the Manchester North West England regions (Manchester, Liverpool, Cheshire, Bolton etc), carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance / emergency call outs breakdowns across a cluster of commercial properties including office space, manufacturing sites and mobile network switching sites. Package: What is in it for you? * Basic salary: GBP39,000 per annum * Paid overtime available at x1.5 - x2 rate. (GBP3K - 10K per annum dependant on lifestyle choice) * Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm. * 1 in 4 week call out rota: GBP125 per week standby + minimum of 4 hours pay if called out. (GBP1625 per year + call outs). * Status: Permanent, PAYE (monthly pay). * 33 days holiday (25 + bank holidays) * Company pension * Company van Fuel Card Duties: * Technical: electrical fault finding, wiring, lighting (lamps, ballasts, emergency lighting and other safety lighting, security lighting, LED upgrades), power distribution, transformers, cabling, LV switching, testing and inspection (EICR, fixed wire testing etc), fire alarm tests, power supplies to HVAC and Fire Security systems, electrical components on HVAC equipment etc. * Compliance / paperwork: updating log books / company CAFM system with job sign ins/outs, detailed work notes, updates etc. Adhering to company health and safety policies. Requirements: * You must be a qualified Electrician to one of the following standards or equivalent: City and Guilds 236 part 2, City and Guilds 2360 Level 3, NVQ Level 3 etc. * Must hold a UK driving license / be legally able to work in the UK. * Have legal right to work in the UK * Able to pass a basic background check. * Have experience carrying out maintenance duties within commercial environments. * City and Guilds 2391 testing and inspection would be highly beneficial but not essential.
