Position Overview: Currently seeking a skilled AutoCAD Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at our site in North Norwich. The ideal candidate will have experience in 2D drafting (essential) and 3D modeling (desirable), with a strong background in manufacturing or engineering. Responsibilities: Create accurate 2D drawings and detailed 3D models using AutoCAD software. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop design concepts and solutions. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical support and assistance to production teams. Review and revise designs based on feedback and requirements. Maintain accurate documentation and records of design work. Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD software, with demonstrable experience in 2D drafting and layout. Familiarity with 3D modeling techniques and software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor). Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is highly preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
